3D Printing: It’s More Fun with Friends

2014 was an amazing year for 3D Printing and for us at 3DPrinterOS.It is so exciting to see the world around us change and develop as this amazing technology takes hold. One of the greatest things about the current state of the industry is the “Open Source” nature of the business and the collaborations between individuals and businesses all across the world.iphone 5c refurbished It’s these types of practices that have innovations developing at a blinding pace in many different directions. One of our favorite projects from last year was e-Nable, who are designing 3D printable prosthetic hands and utilizing crowd sourcing to provide prosthetic hands to people and families who might not have otherwise been able to afford them.It’s in the spirit of such amazing collaborations that we are starting off 2015 with some of our favorites here in NYC. On Tuesday January 27, 2015 we will be teaming up with Shapeways and Graphic Design NYC to host the years first Meetup at the Shapeways factory in Long Island City. The theme: Your 3D Printing New Years Resolution! We couldn’t think of a better way to start the year of 3D printing then to hear about all the projects, goals, and ambitions of a group of 3D print enthusiasts!We know you want to be there and we also know that not everyone can make it.
